David Suzuki's personal stake in Alzheimer's research in Studio Q

David Suzuki has explored many medical issues on his long-running show 'The Nature of Things' -- Lyme disease, obesity, neuroplasticity -- but his latest research on Alzheimer's disease has a deeply personal bent. The award-winning geneticist knows all too well that his odds of contracting the condition are high. His mother died of it, and two of his uncles and an aunt also suffered from dementia. Jian speaks with Suzuki about his family's history with Alzheimer's, the setbacks and breakthroughs in treating the disease, and whether he meant it when he said he'd "just as soon be put down" if he lost his cognitive capabilities.
