In 1845, English explorer John Franklin and his crew embarked on a search for the Northwest Passage. They disappeared, and were never heard from again. Although some remains were found of the men, Franklin's two ships- HMS Erebus and HMS Terror have eluded researchers to this day. Today a documentary that first aired in 1974 on the program Between Ourselves. It’s called The Last Voyage: The Fate of Franklin, and it documents the voyage of the doomed expedition.
