Canadian Actor Christopher Plummer

Christopher Plummer was born in 1929. His parents divorced before he was even a year old. He was brought up by his mother and aunts at the family home just outside Montreal. But Plummer chafed at his genteel, almost Edwardian upbringing. As he puts it, "the gutters soon beckoned". By the time he was a teenager, Plummer was already acting and enjoying the Montreal nightlife. Admittedly, all with his mother's consent. While many people associate Christopher Plummer with Captain von Trapp in the 1965 movie The Sound of Music, there's so much more to Plummer.
