The 50th Anniversary Of The First Kidney Transplant In Saskatchewan
Fifty years ago this week a team of doctors in Saskatoon performed Canada's second kidney transplant, between people who were not identical twins. The first had taken place a few months earlier in Montreal. Dr. Richard Baltzan joined the Saskatoon transplantation team shortly after. He spoke with Saskatoon Morning's Leisha Grebinski.
