This week, we've been talking about PTSD. The reason? Because the military is now dealing with four recent deaths, suspected suicides. And the question is out there, are soldiers getting the help they need? Saskatoon Morning's Dan Kerslake produced a documentary in 2010. It was about a soldier, a local man named Leander, who was dealing with PTSD. With our focus on the problem this week, we thought it would be a good idea to re-play his story.
Then, Dan followed up on the story and spoke with Leander's mother Agnes Helmink to find out how things turned out.

Saskatoon Morning 31 Vehicle Pile-Up Near North Battleford Dec 2, 2013 | 4:57A major pile-up involving 31 vehicles resulted in dozens of injuries and forced a highway closure southeast of North Battleford on the weekend. It happened Saturday morning on Highway 16 near the village of Maymont. The area was very foggy at the time. MD Ambulance spokesperson Troy Davies says, it could have been the "deadliest crash of the year" in Saskatchewan. Troy Davies joined host Leisha Grebinski for more.
