STM ticket clerk draws criticism over French-only sign
Today on our sister show, Daybreak, we heard from Jessica Rodrigues. She was shocked Wednesday night to see a sign at a Villa-Maria metro ticket booth that said, "Au Québec, c'est en français que ça se passe." This roughly translates into "In Quebec we operate in French." Radio Noon talks to Marvin Rotrand, a city councillor for Snowdon who also sits on the STM's finance and customer service committee, and we open the lines for our listeners to call in with their comments.
