Housing Issues in Nunavik
A Quebec housing rights advocacy group called the Front d'action populaire en réaménagement urbain (FRAPRU) is sponsoring a commission that is travelling across the province to hear about housing issues. The popular commission's first stop was in Nunavik last week where it heard from Inuit leaders, social groups and residents of Kuujjuaq, the region's largest community. Our Townships Correspondant Sarah Rogers looked into some of the major housing issues facing people in that part of the province.
