St. Lawrence College stages The Broth of Brith
Quebec City's Cégep Champlain St-Lawrence has a tradition of staging original musical comedies. Last year, you might remember "Grosse Île," a serious historical drama. This year, something lighter: a fantasy called "The Broth of Brith" which draws on some of Shakespeare's most recognizable character-types and plot twists. The CBC's Rachelle Solomon spoke with John Halpin, Dean of Faculty at SLC, who co-wrote the show, and student performers Amanda Sweeney (the Princess) and Alyson Mace-Reardon (the Wizard).
