Organization opposes Quebec gun registry
The Quebec government is awaiting the outcome of a court battle with the federal government over the data contained in the federal long-gun registry that concerns Quebecers. Quebec wants the information because it intends to proceed with its own registry. But already, a movement has started up to oppose the plan. Its supporters met in Drummondville last weekend. Shawn Bevins is one of the organizers, and he joins us this morning.
