Quebec wants its own International Gene Therapy Consortium

Millions of people worldwide are affected by certain types of diseases known as monogenetic diseases. This diseases happen when because of a problem with a single gene in the human body. Quebec now wants its own International Gene Therapy Consortium to work on these specific diseases. Dr Jacques Tremblay is president of the Association of Gene Therapy of Quebec and researcher in the Research center of the Centre Hospitalier Universitaire (CHU) of Quebec And he joined us in studio this morning.
