Montreal's mouldy schools
Three elementary schools in Hochelaga-Maisonneuve have been evacuated in the past year after students and teachers got sick. Those schools are higher on the list of priorities at the French language Montreal school board than Villeray's Ecole St-Gérard. That school was awarded 16 million dollars in funding over the weekend. Eve Kirlin is the president of the parents' committee at Ecole Saint-Nom-de-Jésus in Hochelaga-Maisonneuve.
