Winter Challenges of Reduced Mobility

The support of a cane can make even the most surefooted folks feel a bit safer on an icy sidewalk. And, there is no shortage of THEM during the wintery months in Quebec. People with reduced mobility, namely people who use canes, wheelchairs or walkers are particularly inconvenienced by these obstacles. Romain Dubé lives in Quebec City, and uses a cane. Quebec AM's Julia Caron met him on the streets of the Montcalm neighbourhood where he told her about his experience with ice.
