Explaining the great maple syrup heist of 2012
It was one of the most spectacular - and unusual - crime stories of 2012: The theft of millions of dollars worth of maple syrup from a warehouse in Saint-Louis de Blandford. Police made several arrests in the heist before Christmas and most of the stolen syrup has been accounted for. New York City-based writer Brendan Borrell tapped into the maple caper and wrote an in-depth article about the great heist. He joined Jacquie with the sticky details.
