Entry Island's hilltop cows
Entry Island is a tiny gem of an island in the middle of the Gulf of St-Lawrence, an hour's ferry ride south of the main Magdalen Islands. During the summer, high up on Entry's much photographed Big Hill, the community's cows pasture. During the winter, the cows are warm in the barn, where Jacquie visited fisherman/farmer Ralph Josey at the end of last winter.
