Still waiting

Up until early this year, immigrants already living and working in Canada had to apply for permanent residency through the Canadian Consulate in Buffalo, New York. But in May, the Harper government closed the Buffalo office. Now many immigrants say they are facing long delays. Marina Smyth applied through the Buffalo CIC processing center and she joined us live in the Daybreak studio.
