Daybreak Montreal from CBC Radio: December 5, 2012
Daybreak was on location at Dawson College today. It's was a special program on how to leave out violence in schools as we approach the deadline for all schools to submit their anti-bullying plans to their boards. We were also raising money for LOVE, the leave out violence in schools program. We meet the founder of the LOVE program, Twinkle Rudberg. The first LOVE workshop took place at Dawson nearly twenty years ago. Shawn Apel also introduces us to a couple of people who went through the program. And Caroline Ouellette joined us. She is a forward with the Montreal stars and a three time Olympic gold medalist. Despite all her success in hockey, Caroline has experienced bullying firsthand. She has some advice for women facing sexist bullying in sports.
