Refugee advocate concerned about language test for new Canadians
Beginning next month, people who apply for Canadian citizenship will have to provide proof that they can function in English or French. And they will have to provide that proof at their own expense. Radio Noon spoke about these changes to an official at Citizenship and Immigration Canada and a refugee advocate who's critical of these new language proficiency rules.
