English college represents Quebec at prestigious French literary award
Every year, college-level students from around France gather to debate which book will be awarded the Prix Goncourt des Lycéens, a literary prize associated with the prestigious Prix Goncourt. This year, the only participating college from outside France is Vanier College, an English CEGEP in Montreal. But some critics are asking, is it appropriate for an English institution to represent Quebec and Canada at a major French award?
