Eyewitness account of trapped killer whales near Inukjuak
A pod of killer whales captured the attention of the world this week after they got trapped in a hole in the ice off the east coast of Hudson Bay. It now seems they were able to escape. We heard from eye witnesses to the plight of the whales, including 21-year-old Martha Asudluak of Inukjuak. She got a snowmobile ride out to see the whales. She spoke afterwards with the CBC's Catou MacKinnon who asked her to describe what she saw when she arrived at the scene.
