Quitting Smoking Early Saves Lives
Warning labels say cigarettes kill. But, according to new research, smokers who kick the habit before turning 40, live almost as long as people who never smoked in the first place. Dr. Prabhat Jha is the head of the Centre for Global Health Research at St. Michael's Hospital. He co-authored the new study, which was just published in The New England Journal of Medicine.
