Narwhals in Milne Inlet
Plans for Baffinland’s Mary River Project have changed. Instead of constructing a new port at Steensby Inlet, the company wants to use an existing one at Milne Inlet. That area is a large calving ground for narwhals, and some are concerned about the potential effects of increased traffic. CBC’s Abraham Tagalik spoke to hunter Charlie Inuarak about Milne Inlet.
