Grand Council calls on Quebec to hold review uranium industry

On March 5, the Grand Council of the Crees called on the Marois government to carry out an independant evaluation of the uranium industry in Quebec. A poll released by the Canadian Boreal Initiative suggest that a majority of Quebecers agree that a review of the industry is needed. Three out of four, or 77% said Strateco should respect the views of the Crees and not proceed with the Matoush project. Roderick Rabbitskin spoke with the Executive Director of the CRA, Bill Namagoose from Ottawa.
