40 Wemindji people visit Chief Louie in Osoyoos

About 40 people from Wemindji are visiting Osoyoos, British Columbia, from August 6 to 10th. Chief Clarence Louie invited them to attend a seminar created specifically for the Cree Nation of Wemindji. Chief Louie has come to Eeyou Istchee several times to talk about building private business to fund First Nations communities. His message struck a chord with Chief Rodney Mark who spoke with CBC's Vincent Georgkish about why it's worth paying tens of thousands of dollars to bring Wemindji to Osoyoos.
