WAM 23-24 Lori-Ann Campbell - Faceless Dolls
An art exhibit that commemorates the lives of children and women from Newfoundland and Labrador who are missing or have been murdered - That's The Faceless Dolls Project, coming in March. The idea is to create a felt doll in the name of each and every one of the victims. They will be remembered, their lives honoured and their families respected. The project is sponsored by the St. John's Native Friendship centre and requires your knowledge and know-how to get things off the ground. Lori-Ann Campbell is the Women's Program Co-Ordinator for the St. John's Native Friendship Centre. She speaks with Mack.
