Twitter, Facebook, Linkedin, Tumblr, Google Plus, youtube ... the myriad social media we now use to communicate keep expanding, and we find ways of expanding our uses of the new methods. The Newfoundland and Labrador Arts Council has seen the need to plunge in and ride the new wave. Joshua Jamieson is the Communications Officer for the NLAC and he's been tasked with implementing a social media strategy to guide the council through establishing and maintaining its online profile through a range of social media platforms. Joshua joined me in the studio this week and I began our conversation by asking him what it means to institute a social media profile.
