WAM Nov 17-18 Donna Thistle
The St. John's restaurant Gracie Joe's ignited a debate this week by admitting it's been allowing customers to bring their own wine. After that the head of the Liquor Corporation told CBc he couldn't see a problem and that they'd be asking government to change the laws. Donna Thistle is all for that. Thistle just can't see how allowing people to bring their own wine is going to hurt business. She says restaurants will still making money with a corking fees. And don't have to inventory expensive wines. People will come to your restaurant to eat if you give them the flexibility to bring their own wines.
