More truth about Indian Residential schools
Yesterday, there was a landmark decision for the Truth And Reconcilliation Commission. The Commision now has access to millions of historical documents related to Indian Residential Schools, thanks to an Ontario Superior Court of Justice ruling. The federal government argued it wasn't obligated to provide records housed in Library and Archives Canada. But it has to now. Lawyer Julian Falconer worked on the case for the Truth and Reconcilliation Commission. This morning, he's on the line from Thunder Bay to tell us more about it.
