Coast Guard Urges Caution on Ice
It's been a warmer Winter so far in Labrador. But that means it hasn't been cold enough for sea ice to properly form up along the coast. Yesterday on Labrador Morning, we heard the ice isn't very hard in Nain, while there's no ice at all in the harbour at St. Lewis. Paul Veber keeps an eye on ice conditions in the Atlantic Region. He is the region's Superintendent of Ice Operations with the Canadian Coast Guard. He joins us by telephone.
