Lack of Ice Along Labrador Coast
All along the Labrador coast there are signs that ice isn't forming the way it used to. Last week, a 63 year old man died after going through the ice in Hopedale harbour. He was riding on Skidoo across the harbour, which is a major travel route for people living there. Warrick Chubbs of St. Lewis has been keeping an eye on ice conditions on the south coast. Ronald Webb is a ground search and rescue volunteer in Nain. They join us by phone from their communities.
