Ski Camp in Labrador City

Organizers of a provincial cross country ski camp in Labrador City were a little worried last week. On Friday past it was raining and mil. But as of Monday, there was fifty centimeters of fresh snow to cover the trails. That made for perfect snow training conditions for young skiers from all across Newfoundland and Labrador. It also made for some very happy coaches. Labrador Morning's Mike Power dropped by the Menihek Nordic ski club yesterday afternoon to meet some of the participants, and find out how things are going.
