Nutrition North Canada - In Nain
Residents in Labrador are getting a chance to voice their concerns about high food prices directly with the people that helped set them. Representatives from Nutrition North Canada are in Nain this week, holding one on one sessions with concerned residents who find the price of food to be too high. The agency recently made major changes to prices, putting things like pasta rice and flour on a lower subsidy. Last night they held a public meeting in Nain to hear from concerned customers. Stephen Van Dine is the General Director of Nutrition North Canada. He joins us on the line from Nain.
