Firefighters talk about Labrador City Fire

Last weekend, firefighters and emergency workers in Labrador West were put to the test. The fire that levelled that apartment building presented no shortage of challenges. The first call came early Sunday Morning to the Labrador City fire department. The fire was so huge, firefighters and emergency workers from the town of Wabush, the Iron Ore company of Canada and Wabush mines were also called in to help. Yesterday afternoon, reporter Mike Power met with Labrador City fire chief Joe Power, and Battalion Chief Allan Russell to find out more about the daunting challege the fire provided.
