Labrador Winter Games - Labrathon -Tri-Athlon - Northern Games

the Northern Triathlon into a Duathlon where competitors cross country skied and snow shoed to the finish line . The two to watch - Ricky Kennedy of Happy Valley Goose Bay and Patron of the Labrador Winter Games Alf Parsons. Either one could have easily brought home gold... The Labrathon is a highlight of every Labrador Winter Games. it really showcases life in Labrador ..hunting, trapping, and living off the land. And anything can happen on the course. Colleen Connors was at both these events... On Friday night, the Northern Games There was a buzz about 5 foot 2 ..18-year-old Sarah Sooley is from Port Hope Simpson. She held the record for the challenging one foot high kick from the last winter games. What happened was nothing short of amazing. Labrador Morning's John Gaudi was there to capture it all.
