2013 Labrador Winter Games

Four weeks from today, the snow shoe races will be underway to mark the beginning of competition for the 2013 Labrador Winter Games. 30 years ago the first games were held, bringing communities from all over Labrador to Happy Valley Goose Bay to compete in what many call the Friendship Games. Jon Beale is the Games coordinator for this years Anniversary Edition of the games, and he is in our studio this morning.
