Controversial Caribou hunt at Border Beacon
controversial caribou hunt in Labrador is getting mixed reaction. A week and a half ago, aboriginal groups met in Kujjuaq to talk about the declining George River Caribou herd. Shortly after that meeting, a group of hunters from Natuashish took down dozens of caribou in the Border Beacon area.
