Victim's Family Demands Details of New Trial
Jeremy Reid of Wabush is back behind bars today. Reid was granted day parole on December 4th, after 19 months in jail. Reid was the hit-and-run driver who struck and killed Shane Mercer and seriously injured Leisa Penney. He admitted in court to drinking before he got behind the wheel. Reid was convicted of criminal negligence causing death, and criminal negligence causing bodily harm, and given a four-year sentence. Now, Shane Mercer's family wants to know what Reid did to land back in jail. Lindsay Mitchelmore is Shane Mercer's sister. She told Mike Power about this most recent development.
