New Youth Centre for Makkovik

Its a big day for young people living in Makkovik. Their new hang out spot officially opens today. It's been five years in the making and the old fire hall has been turned into the "Makkovik Hall of Youth" It comes with a pool table, table tennis, a workout room and even video games. And John Anderson is overjoyed that students in his town now have a safe, but fun place to spend their spare time. John's the Director of Recreation and Community Events in Makkovik.
