New Math For Provincial Grants To Municipalities Hurts And Helps
The province unveiled its new formula for unconditional grants to the municipalities, and there are winners and losers in our region. Saint John will be out nearly $1 million over three years, while St. Stephen will receive $160,000 plus. The mayors join us for reaction. The expectation is it will drop by the same amount next year and the year after.
