Yesterday on Information morning we spoke to Dennis Browne, a St. John's lawyer, and the former consumer advocate for Newfoundland and Labrador. He told us that the Lower Churchill hydroelectric project is a bad deal for ratepayers in that province, because it would mean a large hike in power rates, to produce electricity that is not necessary.
