Anne and Herpes - Maggie Koerth-Baker

It's been a tough week for our Anne of Green Gables. First a blonde voluptuous version on the cover of a new box set of Anne novels, caused a stir among fans. And now a science writer in the US has written a headline that may leave you shaking your head. It reads: "Anne of Green Gables had herpes (and you probably do, too)". Author Maggie Koerth-Baker is the science editor at BoingBoing dot Net. She also writes a monthly column for the New York Times magazine. Matt Rainnie reached her in Minneapolis.
