Are we too nostalgic?

Abstract art, clean-lined modern architecture and unconventional music appeal to some. But recent creations seem inaccessible - and even unpleasant - to many others. At the same time, new houses mimic Victorian design and Impressionist paintings attract huge crowds. Do we have a problem with modernism, or are we just nostalgic?
