The Allan Cup is Coming to Clarenville

Clarenville has quickly become a hotbed for senior hockey in this province. Now it looks like the town will be the center of the national senior hockey scene, at least in the spring of 2015. That's because Clarenville's was the only bid submitted for the Allan Cup. The right to host the 103 year old championship was awarded to this province at Hockey Canada meetings last year. Fraser Russell is the chairman of the Clarenville Caribous and was on the bid committee.
