Josh and the Armchair Mayor: budget time

Mill rates. Amortization. Capital versus operating costs. Yes, city budgets can be pretty boring, but the city of Kamloops wants you to get more involved. It is hosting online chats and public forums hoping you'll help decide how your tax dollars are spent. On Tuesday evening, Josh Pagé and Mel Rothenburger went to the first public budget meeting. This week's episode of Josh and the Armchair Mayor asks if a surplus of information can reduce the civic knowledge deficit.
