Waiting for the Ambulance
A Gander woman says she had a health scare on Sunday she hopes nobody else will have to face. Melanie Hearn woke up feeling very ill, and needed an ambulance. The problem was, even though she and her husband live five minutes from the hospital, they had to wait nearly an hour for help to arrive. Now she's feeling better, but the Hearns are afraid that kind of wait time will end up costing someone's life. Leigh Anne Power dropped by Melanie and Blaine Hearn's home to find out more about their experience and their concerns.
