Back to Work for Local NHLer
The new collective bargaining agreement between the NHL and its players association is set to be ratified sometime on Saturday. That means players who've been at the gym trying to stay in shape for months will finally hit the ice for shortened training camps on Sunday. Among those very relieved to be back to work is Bonavista's Adam Pardy. Pardy started with the Calgary Flames and spent last season in Dallas. This year he's starting with another new team, the Buffalo Sabres. Leigh Anne Power reached Adam Pardy at the St.John's airport on his way to Buffalo.
