Kids with FASD going undiagnosed - CHB report
Fetal alcohol spectrum disorder, or FASD, is a well-known condition throughout Eeyou Istchee. Yet many Cree children suffer from the effects without ever being officially diagnosed. The Cree Health Board presented a new report on FASD at the Annual General Assembly in Waskaganish. To find out more, Roderick Rabbitskin spoke to Lisa Petagumskum, executive director of the CHB, and to Evelyn Blackned, a teacher who sees the impact of FASD in her classroom.
