For people constantly intoxicated on our streets, the drunk tank or the emergency room is often a constant stopping place. But their presence can be taxing on police or paramedics who are constantly called to help them. The RCMP says it has a plan to help those people before police need to be called. It's an idea Bob Hughes been consulted on in the past. He is the Executive Director of ASK Wellness in Kamloops. Shelley reached him on the line.
