Prosperity mine proposal faces renewed opposition

The proposed Prosperity Mine near Williams Lake follows a familiar story line. Those in favour of the mine say the community needs its money and jobs. Those opposed say the mine will ravage important fish habitat and other natural areas. Tonight members from advocacy group Fish Lake Alliance will tell Williams Lake city council about their concerns. This comes only days after the mine proposal was told to slow down by federal reviewers. For more, we've reached Jenny Noble. She is with Fish Lake Alliance, and will be at city council tonight.
