Waiting in line for food

Monday, Wednesday, and Friday are family days at the Kamloops Food Bank. The line-up starts early. People get a number and gather outside a long trailer waiting for their turn to peruse the goods offered up. There are young moms with babies. Seniors. Even couples with youngsters in tow. Yesterday, I joined the queue and talked to a few folks who rely on the food bank to make ends meet. Several were single moms who were willing to share their story, but not their name.
