Justin Byrne won the Silver Medal for Bravery from the Royal Canadian Humane Association after he rescued people from a burning building. Alan Feht of Parks Canada says because of budget cuts, 40 kilometres of cross country ski trails in Elk Island National Park will not be groomed. Glenda Hanna of the Edmonton Nordic Ski Club, and general manager of the Canadian Birkebeiner Ski Festival, looks at the implications for the race.
